This summer, Ghetto Football has visited Sigulda, Jēkabpils, Krāslava, Valmiera, Bauska, and Rēzekne, proving once again that street football unites people throughout Latvia. In addition to the regular tour stops, several special pop-up events have also taken place, including Ghetto Football in Bolderāja and the popular Panna Tournament at Domina Shopping, along with several other special events that have continued to expand the Ghetto Football movement.
This season also featured the ISFA Masters Riga, where Latvian teams competed against some of the best international street football teams. The tournament was won by the Spanish team Pelotero El Bruc, who were crowned champions.
However, the most important events of the season are still ahead.
Very soon, Ghetto Football will travel beyond Latvia's borders for one of the season's major events in Tallinn. Over two days, the event will feature both a Celebrity Tournament and an Open Tournament, bringing together players and fans from across the region.
Another highlight of the summer will be the Ghetto Games Festival in Ventspils – the largest street sports and culture festival in the Baltics. Over three days, Ghetto Football will host a Celebrity 5v5 Tournament, an Open 5v5 Tournament, an Open 3v3 Tournament, and a Kids' 3v3 Tournament.
The season will conclude with the Ghetto Football Super Final, where this summer's champions will be crowned. Participants will compete for the season's biggest prize – a trip to the UEFA Champions League Final, a reward that has become one of the greatest motivations for players to reach the highest level.
The second half of the season promises to be even more dynamic, competitive, and full of excitement. There is still time for anyone to join the competition, earn ranking points, and become part of the Ghetto Football summer story.
